An amazing recipe from The Food Grinder: Terry’s Chocolate Orange Protein Doughnuts!



50g Rolled Oats

50g Almond Flour

30g LDNM Chocolate Whey

Teaspoon of Baking Powder

1 Egg

2 Egg Whites

Half a Terry’s Chocolate Orange



Add the oats, flour, whey, baking powder and eggs to a blender – blend until smooth.

Pre heat an oven to around 180 degrees C

Pour the batter into doughnut moulds or cases, and put in the oven for around 10 minutes (until they have risen)

Meanwhile melt a quarter of the chocolate orange in the microwave or over a hob, and pour onto a flat, shallow plate.

Roughly chop the other quarter and place on a similar plate.

Remove the doughnuts, allow to cool slightly, before dipping in the melted chocolate, and then the chopped bits to coat them.

Allow to set or enjoy warm!
