Another delicious and crave killing recipe from Team LDNM’s, Alice (AKA Clean Eating Alice).


  • 10-12 pitted dates
  • 2 scoops of LDNM Maple Syrup Whey Protein.
    * You can also use any flavour whey from our range if you prefer.
  • 1tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup pip and nut almond butter
  • 2 cups roasted almonds
  • 1tbsp melted coconut oil


If your almonds aren’t already roasted, pre heat your oven to 190 degrees. Lay them flat onto a baking tray and roast them for around 8-10 minutes or until they turn slightly golden, them remove and leave to cool completely before using.

Once cooled, place your almonds into your food processor and blitz until broken down into small chunks.

Then add the rest of your ingredients, and blitz for around 2-3 minutes until you have a sticky ball of dough, stopping a few times between to scrape down the sides with a spatula so the entire mixture is combined. You may need to add a few tbsps of water to achieve consistency (I usually add one).

Once fully combined, use your hands to create small round balls and place onto a plate and once you’ve completed the whole mixture, pop the plate into the fridge for around 20 minutes for the balls to set before serving.
